Honeycomb Bible LLC builds faith experiences that invite honest participation. We believe private spiritual writing deserves especially careful treatment.

The God Experiment

What stays on your device

Your onboarding answers, prayers, gratitude entries, notes, questions, check-in answers, and final reflections are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to product analytics.

Anonymous product analytics

If analytics are enabled, the app may record a limited list of product events such as onboarding completion, day or step completion, reminder interaction, paywall activity, purchase result, and sharing. These events may include product mechanics such as day number, step name, platform, and app version. They do not include written responses, belief selections, precise location, advertising identifiers, session recordings, or a cross-app personal profile.

Purchases

Apple, Google, and our purchase-status provider may process store purchase records to unlock or restore the full experiment. Honeycomb Bible LLC does not receive your payment-card number.

Honeycomb

Honeycomb is being built as a local-first experience. Game progress may be stored on the device. If optional account, family, community, or cloud-sync features are offered, the app will explain what information is needed before those features are used. We do not sell personal information or use children’s personal information for targeted advertising.

This website

This website does not require an account and does not use advertising trackers. Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site.

Your choices

The God Experiment lets you disable analytics, export your experiment, and delete local experiment data from Settings. Device operating systems also let you control notifications and app permissions. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@honeycombbible.com.

Data protection and retention

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. Local app data remains until you delete it, reset it inside the app, or remove the app, subject to your device backups. Limited operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, support, legal obligations, and reliable purchase restoration.

Children and families

Honeycomb is intended to be usable by families. Features directed to children will be designed to minimize collection and use age-appropriate consent where required. Parents or guardians can contact us with questions about a child’s information.

Changes

We may update this policy as products and laws change. The effective date above will change when we make a material update.
